Thursday, September 10th, Burwell Jr. Sr. High School hosted a Financial Aid Event sponsored by the EducationQuest Foundation. Parents of college-bound students learned more about the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and ways to pay for college. EducationQuest is a free resource for Nebraska families to help with college planning. BHS will have a FAFSA Completion Event on November 13th from 3-7pm and EducationQuest will be back to help Seniors and their families complete the FAFSA. "Financial Aid isn't the most exciting topic," said School Counselor Julie Tetschner, "but it is one of the most important aspects for students and families to understand the cost of college, ways to pay for college, and how to financially prepare for college."
