Winter Sports in Full Swing

With the arrival of December, the winter sports season for Burwell Jr. Sr. High School is in full swing. Be sure to check our activities calendar as well as the week at a glance calendar at the bottom of our website for activities.
The Junior High athletes will be winding up their seasons soon, but will return to action this week with Jr. High Wrestling on Tuesday, December 3rd at Sandhills-Thedford and again at O'Neill at 5 pm on Friday, December 6th. The Jr. High girls basketball team will face West Holt on Monday, December 2nd and at home against O'Neill St. Mary's on the next day.
Varsity Basketball will begin on Thursday, December 5th at Fullerton and will continue on Friday as the Longhorns take on North Central at home. The Wrestling team will also begin on Thursday, December 5th with a dual at West Holt and will then travel to the Ravenna Invite on Friday, December 6th.
