Burwell Students Receive High Marks

August 22, 2012

Results of the statewide tests (NeSA Reading, NeSA Math, NeSA Science and NeSA Writing) were released on August 21, 2012.  A report put together by the Nebraska Department of Education was sent home with the students which explained the results of the statewide tests.  Parents were encouraged to contact their school if they had questions.    The charts below will highlight how each grade level scored on the test.  Student scores were divided into three categories:  below standard, met standard, and exceeds standard.

Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies and Writing are really the cornerstones of the educational process.  All other learning is connected or tied back to these academic disciplines.  It is our goal that all students can academically improve and reach their fullest potential.  Interventions and programs have been implemented to help all our students be more successful.  If you have questions about any of these programs please contact the school.  Below is a list of some these interventions:
