Cell phones and drivers—one of the most talked-about topics of discussion in our society. The Nebraska Safety Council will visit the students at Burwell Jr.-Sr. High School on Tuesday, February 12. One student from each grade, 7-12, will be chosen to “drive” a 2013 Ford Escape with a simulator that will demonstrate what will happen when a person talks/texts on his cell phone while driving. If you do not want your child to participate in this activity, either as a driver or as an observer, please contact the high school office at 346-4150.
