October 01, 2026
Burwell Jr./Sr. High School juniors and seniors attended the Ord College Fair on Thursday, October 1, giving students the opportunity to explore a variety of options for their future after high school.
During the event, students were able to visit with more than 50 college and military representatives. Representatives shared information about programs of study, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, and other resources available to students as they begin making plans for life after graduation.
School counselor Miss Tetschner said the college fair provides students with a valuable opportunity to gather a large amount of information in one location.
“This is a great one-stop shop for students to gather a lot of information in a short amount of time,” Tetschner said. “It gives juniors a jump start to college planning, and seniors an opportunity to narrow down college options.”
The event allowed juniors to begin exploring potential colleges and career paths while giving seniors a chance to further research their options and prepare for the next step after high school. The Ord College Fair provided Burwell students with an informative and convenient way to begin or continue planning for their futures.
