26-27 Senior Information

May 18, 2026

Dear Seniors and Senior Parents,

Welcome to an exciting time in your life, YOUR SENIOR YEAR!  This year will be filled with memories that you can add to your already memorable moments here at Burwell High School! I cannot wait to watch you seize every opportunity and set yourself down a path of success!

During your senior year you will be asked to provide a senior picture for many different reasons such as the senior banner and the yearbook.  Other reasons will also come about during your senior year. The purpose of this letter is to inform you of our senior pictures rules and regulations. These can be found in the student handbook as well.

  • For the use of senior pictures in the yearbook, seniors are required to submit one digital vertical picture that adheres to school dress code (bare midriffs are not acceptable school dress), with no hats, no weapons, and no animals. Pictures can be emailed to jennifer.critel@burwellpublicschools.com by December 14, 2026.

  • For the paid senior ad families may submit any pictures digitally to jennifer.critel@burwellpublicschools.com.  Again, pictures must adhere to the dress code (bare midriffs are not acceptable school dress) and no weapons. Pictures with hats, animals, and any other school appropriate backgrounds or props will be allowed. Mrs. Critel will send a letter in November to place orders.

  • For the paid banner families may submit any pictures digitally to jennifer.critel@burwellpublicschools.com.  Again, pictures must adhere to the dress code (bare midriffs are not acceptable school dress) and no weapons. Pictures with hats, animals, and any other school appropriate backgrounds or props will be allowed. The picture must be waste up so that it can be seen from across the gym.  This is due by October 1, 2026.

  • All pictures used will be approved by the school administration in collaboration with the journalism sponsor.

If you have any questions please contact Mr. Stolzer at the high school office.

Sincerely,

Mr. Adam Stolzer

7-12 Principal
