May 18, 2026
Dear Parents of Incoming 7th Grade Students,
Welcome to Seventh Grade! We are excited to welcome you to our building as you start your Jr./Sr. High School experience. The Jr./Sr. High School experience has ample opportunities for students and we look forward to seeing you take advantage of those opportunities and grow into great young men and women. We cannot wait to see you August 18th 2026 for your first day of Jr./Sr. High School!
This letter is intended to give you information that incoming seventh graders and their parents need to be aware of before they start school in August 2026. Below is a list of forms that need to be completed before your student can start school. These forms can be brought to New Student Orientation on Wednesday, August 17th.
-
Immunization Records. Nebraska law requires that all immunizations be up to date. If a student does not have proper immunizations they are not allowed to attend school. The required immunizations have changed.
-
Physical. All students entering the 7th grade must have a recent physical, within 6 months of entering school. A sports physical meets this requirement.
-
Sports Physical sheets must be filled out and signed.
The following forms will be given to students at New Student Orientation.
Emergency Medical Treatment Form Mass Communication Form
Dispensing Medication Form Student Handbook Form
Technology Agreement Form Substance Abuse Form
Insurance Assurance Form NSAA Consent Form
Lions Release Form. This lets your child have a free exam for hearing and eyes.
Free/Reduced Lunch Application.
General Supplies for 7th Grade
Necessary: Pencils, Pens, Erasers, Highlighters, Notecards, 7 - 10 Spiral Notebooks, 7-10 Folders, Backpack
Optional: Binder, Calculator, Other organizational tools
We will have an orientation for all incoming students, Wednesday, August 17, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the High School Library. The purpose of the orientation is to help answer any questions that the seventh graders might have, get their class schedule, and to give the students a tour of the high school with their National Honor Society buddy. Hopefully this will assist in the transition to a new building. If the orientation date does not fit into your busy schedule, please give me a call and we will set up another time for your child to visit the school.
In conclusion, I hope by having this information early it helps you know what needs to be done before your son or daughter starts school next fall. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school.
Sincerely,
Adam Stolzer Julie D. Tetschner
