You’re Invited! Community Book Club Kickoff 
Join us Monday, Jan. 26 at 7:00 PM in the Burwell High School Library for the kickoff of a new Book Club featuring The American Buffalo. Books offered are: "Butcher's Crossing" by John Williams and "Fools Crow" by James Welch. Snacks and a reading schedule will be provided, along with copies of the books.
This intergenerational book club brings together students, families, and community members for book discussions, PBS documentary clips, and engaging activities—with a Zoom option available! Participants will receive a FREE copy of the book, made possible by the Weverka Learning Academy.
Students can earn extra credit in classes for participating
Community members are encouraged to attend
Video presentations of Ken Burn's PBS Documentary
Snacks and fun discussions
Ends with a field trip to a local bison ranch
