Students from Burwell Jr. Sr. High School in Miss Tetschner’s Senior Seminar class received a lesson on dining etiquette from Kayla Hinrichs, UNL Extension from Valley County, on Friday, January 27, 2023. The students are eager to learn more about adult skills and on that list was formal dining etiquette. Students learned proper place setting, attire, conversation, and manners. “I was surprised it is proper to use a utensil if I need to remove food from my mouth and not use my napkin,” said Shealynn Rasmussen.
