The Burwell Senior Seminar class had a guest, Jen Epp, from GLW Extension give a presentation on Academic Success and Time Management on Wednesday, November 30th. This was a topic the students asked to learn more about as they better prepare for college. "We all have the same amount of time in a day, 24 hours, but how we utilize that time determines our academic success at college," said Jen. "The most difficult part of college is planning time outside of class for homework. For every hour you're in class, you will have about 2-3 hours of homework, and this takes planning." Students learned different tools to use to help better understand how to spend their time, organize their day, week, and month, and prioritize what is most important.
