Burwell High Band Prepares for Harvest of Harmony

The Burwell High School Marching Band is preparing for the 2019 Harvest of Harmony parade on Saturday, October 5th.
Information about the day:
6:45 AM - Load the buses with rolls and juice for all.
7:00 AM - Depart for Grand Island
The band will stop in St. Paul to change into uniforms, use the restrooms, and put instruments together.
9:00 AM - Arrive and unload, with only 5 minutes to complete this. The bus will leave and students will not see it again until the end of the parade.
March in the Harvest of Harmony Parade
10:15 AM (approximately) - Go the Mall parking lot by Best Buy to meet parents and change.
- Eat food at the mall or sack lunches
12:00 PM - Depart for Burwell
1:30 PM - Arrive in Burwell
Each student is responsible for: their instrument, uniform (including black socks, hat with plume, and band shoes)., money for lunch or a sack lunch. Please do not wear jeans under your uniform as they are too bulky.
The parade route begins at 4th and Elm, travels west to Eddy street, and then under the train tracks to 3rd Street and East to Oak Street.
