Drivers Education to Be Offered at Burwell High School

Driver Education at Burwell Jr. Sr. High School 2012

 

            The Nebraska Safety Center at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will be providing driver education at Burwell Jr. Sr. High School.  The cost is $295.00 per student.  Class time will be from 8:30 to 11:30 July 9th – 20th.  The students will also travel to Kearney for Range and Simulation on July 12th and 17th from 2:30 – 8:00.  The behind the wheel and on street testing will be arranged at the convenience of the students and instructor and will be done in the local area.  The student’s parents are responsible for transporting and supervising participant to and from the range.  The class is limited to a maximum of 24 students.  If your enrollment form is received and the class is filled, your deposit will be refunded.  Enrollment will be on a first come, first serve basis.  Each student must have a school permit, learner’s permit for a school permit, learner’s permit, or driver license.  Enrollment forms are available at the High School office.
