The Sargent-Burwell Horns-Dogs wrestling team won the annual Burwell Wrestling Invite on Friday, January 6th. The Horns-Dogs blew the competition away with a team score of 227.5. The Horns-Dogs finish included 4 individual champions on the day: Justin Miller-113 lbs, Sam Lee-132 lbs, Jed Fenske-152 lbs, and Dakota Divine-285 lbs. Other medal winners included Kale Gideon-3rd, Evan Gideon-2nd, Kirby Pomplun-4th, Cody Cassidy-3rd, Sage Gideon-4th, Tanner Balfour-2nd, Brett Mauler-3rd, Tony Charron-2nd, and Brock Alejos-3rd.
Team scores for the meet had West Holt finishing in the Runner-Up spot with 120 points. Other team scores were:
