BHS Qualifies 5 for State Track

Burwell High School qualified 5 competitors for the 2011 Nebraska State Track Meet in Omaha on May 19-21. Qualifying for the boys team was Jake Barrett in the 400 yard dash and Jacob Birch in the High Jump. Caitlin Garner broke her own record in the 110 yard hurdles to qualify. Arianna Owen will compete in the Shot Put and Sydney Weber will round out the competitors in the Girls High Jump.
