Using DocHub to Edit and Submit a PDF
DocHub is a Chrome Extension (installed via the app store)

In Google Classroom

  1. If a teacher gives you a pdf document in an assignment, you can use DocHub to edit the pdf (make changes to it) and then submit it as completed.

    1. Teachers, make sure that when you upload the pdf you select “make a copy for each student” to assure that they aren’t all editing the original document.

  2.  After accessing Google Classroom and the assignment, click on the pdf that the teacher has uploaded.

  3. From the drop-down menu above the document select “DocHub-PDF Sign and Edit.”

  4. If you do not have DocHub in your drop-down list, click “Connect more apps” and search for DocHub to add the extension.

  5. Utilize the toolbar to complete the worksheet/document.

    1. Hold the shift key while drawing a text box to prevent it from auto-sensing the lines.

    2. Use the “comment box” tool to leave a quick message for the teacher or person you are sharing with.

    3. Use the “white-out” tool to clean up a document or fix mistakes on the original document.

    4. Use the “stamps” tool to add checkmarks or X marks on forms. Resize the stamp to fit the appropriate box.

    5. Use the “sign” tool to create your signature and save it for future use.

  6. Once the document has been completed (filled out) use the “Download/Export” option in the upper righthand corner to save the document to Google Drive or your local computer. Make sure that you save the document “with revisions” not the original.

  7. Return to Google Classroom.

  8. Click “add or create”
