Launch the media gallery 1 playerMy name is Kyle Drake, I am the PreK-6 Principal at Burwell Elementary. This is my 4th year in Burwell. I cannot wait for students to fill our halls again and begin school. This is a wonderful community and we have outstanding educators that are eager to teach your students.
My wife, Emily teaches Spanish at Sargent and Loup County Public Schools and we have been married for 8 years. That was the best decision I ever made! We have two children; Nora, is 5 and in Kindergarten at Burwell Elementary and Crew is 2 We also have a goldendoodle, Jax, who is a major part of our family.
We love being a part of this community and enjoying all the wonderful opportunities to explore nature and spend time with each other.
To be successful at Burwell Elementary, we ask students to exhibit five qualities of LONGHORN PRIDE. If they demonstrate; respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, perseverance, and compassion every day, they WILL be successful and have a great year.
