Transportation Claims Due to High School Office

State law provides that parents who are legal residents of the Class 111 School District that have children attending grades K-8 and who live over four miles from school, or whose students "option" (according to the Nebraska Department of Education--option students must qualify for free lunches to qualify for mileage) into the school district, are eligible to submit a transportation claim for each mile the family actually traveled in excess of three miles on each day of attendance during a one way trip. The first semester claims are paid in February. Please contact Betsy Lamb, 308-346-4150, if you think your family may qualify. Paperwork for the first semester reimbursement must be received by January 25th, 2019.
