Student Council Works Hard to Digitize Historical Class Pictures

Burwell Public Schools Striving to Digitize Past Class Composite Pictures

The Student Council of Burwell High School has been working to raise funds to digitize the class pictures of former students, which date back to the early 1930's. The group has raised enough money to begin phase 1 of the project that included taking the class pictures out of the frames, delicately wrapping them, and delivering them to a company in Lincoln that specializes in wide width historical scans.
Phase 2 will involve re-framing and repairing the class pictures, hanging them back up in the elementary school, purchasing digital monitors to display the pictures in both schools, and putting them on the website.
The following classes have been completely sponsored by a $100 contribution:
