FFA Events:
Congratulations to the Burwell FFA Range Judging teams competing in the State Range Judging competition!
In the Senior Division, Colter Wright was the State Reserve Grand Champion Individual.
Those receiving green ribbons for placing in the top 25% were; Dillon Simpson 5th, Cale Buss 9th, Cody Burson 16th, Miles Wright 29th, Hanna Carstens 36th, Wyatt Larsen 40th, & Kaitlyn Simpson 43rd.
The Senior Team of Colter Wright, Dillon Simpson, Cale Buss & Cody Burson were the Reserve State Champion Team and the team of Miles Wright, Hanna Carstens, Wyatt Larsen and Kaitlyn Simpson finished as the 8th place team in the state.
In the Junior Division, Hayes Plugge was the State Champion Range Judger and will receive a Purple Ribbon and Plaque.
Those receiving green ribbons for placing in the top 25% were; Kolton Thoene 11th, Ericka Larsen 25th, Ora Chaffin 35th, Hudson Redman 36th & Cody Marshall 40th.
The Junior Team of Hayes Plugge, Kolton Thoene, Ericka Larsen & Ora Chaffin were the Reserve State Champion Team in the Junior Division.
Burwell FFA Advisor Philip Simpson brought home top honors as the Champion Range Judger in the Adult Division of the Contest and will receive a plaque.
Congratulations to the Burwell FFA Livestock Judging Teams
The Senior Team of Dillon Simpson, Hanna Carstens, Kallista Joy and Colter Wright as the 3rd Place District X Team and qualified for state.
The Junior Team of Ericka Larsen, Brookelyn Gideon, Rea Petersen and Brody Jensen finished as the Third Place Team and qualified for state.
