Class conduct: Students who find themselves not respecting self or others will get one warning. After that they will serve a detention in my room for 10 minutes at the end of the school day. If the problem persists I will refer the student to the principal and contact the parents. Grading procedures: Tests are worth 45% of the total grade, quizzes receive 35% and daily scores that may include worksheets, participation, conduct, notes, or journal entries are valued at 20%. I recommend retakes if the score is below 85%. The high score would be recorded. Students caught clearly cheating will receive an irreplaceable zero in the grade book for the activity/quiz/test. Daily scores are based on completion (done or not done). |
